Welcome to Pleasant Plains Elementary
Pleasant Plains (PPES) is made up of the most caring and professional staff that you can possibly find in the state of Maryland. Each of the teachers that work at PPES are highly qualified teachers, and often have additional certifications in other areas related to Education. Each member of the PPES staff is dedicated to both children and the community that surrounds Pleasant Plains. Programs such as the school play, “Kick, Punt, Pass Competition”, Reading, Math, and STEM Fair Nights, or the student directed broadcast studio are just a few of the many events that help bring the students, parents, staff and community together for one great cause - student achievement!
About Our School
Founded in 1958, Pleasant Plains Elementary School has been serving the surrounding community, feeding from Oakleigh Road on the east, Aigburth Road on the west, north from Deanwood Road and south of Joppa Road. The population is economically diverse with families residing in individual homes, townhomes, and apartments.
