Parents Commitment to Excellence

Families are asked to support the following commitments in order to maximize student achievement and assist in providing a positive school experience:

 As a parent/guardian, I will strive to:

¨ make sure my child attends school on time and on a regular basis.

¨ make sure my child is prepared and organized for school.

¨ communicate regularly with my child about what they are learning in school and how it applies to everyday life.

¨ communicate regularly with teachers.

¨ volunteer at school and/or provide support to activities and events.

¨ provide a regular time and a quiet place for homework and studying for my child.

¨ monitor T.V. and internet use.

¨ take time to read with my child.

¨ advocate for my child if he/she is having problems in or out of school.
